Today, we deliberately limit our commissions to focus exclusively on uncompromising transformations of remote, neglected ruins into warm, high-performance homes. We work with clients who value exceptional craftsmanship over shortcuts, and who understand that doing something properly leaves no room for cutting corners. We do the graft ourselves from day one—managing everything from site groundworks, selective demolition, and structural stonework to breathable lime plastering, underfloor heating, plumbing, and electrics. When the job demands it, we even tow our own mobile sawmill to site, whether we’re restoring an original chestnut beam or milling fresh timber on the spot.
Outside, we restore the surrounding land and handle complete landscaping backed by a qualified horticulturist, alongside restricted-access tree felling by qualified climbers.
When we’re not on the tools, we supply and support restorations across the country. We handle nationwide supply and distribution of natural, vapour-permeable insulation (Steico, Diasen, Hemp) and commercial-grade Victron off-grid power plants—backed by years of installation experience to get your project’s technical specification right. For select project teams in Western Asturias, we also hire out equipment from full scaffolding rigs and mortar spray machines to beam lifters and automatic tapers.
