A small side project for a good client restoring and painting a wooden ceiling for a client, embracing eco-friendly practices and using low-VOC (volatile organic compounds) paint. This project not only aims to revitalize the aesthetics of the space but also emphasizes sustainability and a commitment to reducing environmental impact.

The Beginning

Our client, passionate about eco-friendly living, approached us with a desire to refresh their living space while adhering to environmentally conscious principles. The focus of this project was on a beautiful but weathered wooden ceiling that had lost its lustre over the years.

Step 1: Assessment and Preparation

Before diving into the restoration process, a thorough assessment of the wooden ceiling was conducted. Any existing damage, such as cracks, stains, or decay, was addressed to ensure a solid foundation for the upcoming transformation. Preparation also involved cleaning the surface from dust, dirt, and previous coatings, creating an ideal canvas for the restoration.

Step 2: Sustainable Materials Selection
